The old Japanese house was warm and homey and the hosts were kind and welcoming. Two cats were a bonus. Dinner at the Thai restaurant was exceptional and highly recommended! I would be back anytime and ideally would stay for longer!

The place is very beautiful, very clean, and SO well decorated that it really makes you feel that you're indeed in Japan. You have a couple of restaurants and a Lawson just four blocks away. The lady that runs the place is one of the nicest persons ever and she will go far and beyond to help you in whatever you need. She even got me a nice small surprise present before leaving as a souvenir!

A few minutes walk to Aso station with a couple of eateries around. The place was really clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere, materials, and lighting is very beautiful. We got very warmly welcomed and it was a pleasure to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the main floor restaurant. We definitely recommend it to spend some calm relaxing days! They also provide bicycles to discover the beautiful nature around or drive to a nearby onsen place or to the sea.
