Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. The location is excellent, staff are friendly, clean place, comfortable and well-equipped. I‘m extremely happy that I chose to stay here during my trip to Kyoto.

Great facilities, convenient location close to the station, helpful and kind staff, nice common area with drinks, library, computers... They organize activities like gaming night and they curate some contents for the guests such as cafe recommendations, interesting events in Kyoto... I liked everything about my stay there

A 5-minute walk from Higashiyama Subway Station, Guest House Ga-Jyun features free Wi-Fi at the entire property. The wooden terrace has chairs overlooking the garden. We are small house with 5 rooms. Náš pobyt v tomto Guest house byl velmi klidný, personál byl moc příjemný, pes Jiro byl roztomilým parťákem a atmosféra ve společných prostorách byla skvělá. Skamarádili jsme se tu, zároveň jsou lidé velmi respektující, po jedenácté hodině je tu klid, tma a ticho, jen mírný hluk od aut z ulice, ale nic hrozného. Postele pohodlné. Snídaně byla skvělá! Děkujeme!

This was my third stay at this guesthouse since before the pandemic. The house is a very traditional, but a comfortable one. The owner, Kobayashi-san was very helpful. The guest house is very clean and tidy, with nice neighborhood. It can easily accessed by buses from Kyoto station. Thank you so much! PS: There is a delicious sushi place next to the house which opens up to 11 pm :).

Guest House Gojo se nachází 15 minut chůze od chrámu Kiyomizu-dera a svatyně Yasaka. Everything just perfect ✨ I really enjoy stay here and would like to recommendation everyone who go to kyoto to stay here, especially if you want feel like in japanese house because staff here soo friendly and welcoming you 🤍

Rinn Hostel Miyagawacho se nachází v Kjótu a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách a pokoje s klimatizací. - Room was perfectly clean in beginning and few times in between, as the cleaning staff does the excellent job. - The whole building and the room are made of high quality materials, including Panasonic quality electrical appliances in the room, and washer & dryer in the common space. - Location very close to the train station and the sightseeing areas. - Reception staff very kind and helpful for any questions.

Guest House Hennka Kyoto se nachází v Kjótu a nabízí terasu a výhled na město. Chrám Sandžusangendo se nachází 1,4 km daleko. We spent 7 nights at this guesthouse, and it was an important part of our wonderful experience in Kyoto. The couple that runs the guesthouse became friends with us. They fed us a delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and cabbage salad, which we enjoyed every morning. We had a great time talking with the wife (who can speak English conversationally) every morning, as well as the three other couples who came and went during our long stay. This guesthouse is definitely for people who enjoy the experience of meeting other travelers, want to learn about Japan from their hosts, are looking for a getaway from the big cities, and don't mind walking about 20 minutes to and 20 minutes from (uphill) the closest train station. It's not for people who want a reclusive getaway, don't like walking long distances, are looking for a normal hotel experience, or can't navigate steep stairsteps. This guesthouse allows you to live around the locals in a quiet, non-touristy neighborhood. Our twin room was very spacious compared to our budget hotel room in Tokyo, had a traditional feel to it, and was quite comfortable on hot days with the wall-mounted AC. Going to the bathroom or toilet room does involve walking a few steps out onto the balcony attached to your room, but with the house being high in the hills, it still feels reasonably private. This guest room is next to the one other guest room at this property, so you do need to be aware of noise levels. Below the guest rooms is a vacant art gallery space that serves as a large common area that's currently available to guests but may not always be if it's being used as a gallery. Attached to the gallery is a large patio with a view of Kyoto — a great place to sit in the morning or while eating dinner. If you're looking for a wonderful stay in Kyoto that's a little out of the ordinary, and you're an active traveler that wants to experience the non-touristy side of the city, this may be your place.

Ryokan Hostel Gion se nachází v Kjótu a nabízí sdílený lounge, nekuřácké ubytování, bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách a terasu. Jen 400 metrů odtud je Samurai Kembu Theater. The location is perfect near Kamino river and shopping street. The facilities is clean and the bed is super comfortable and spacious. Walking distance to subway station. The daily rental bike is charged at 500 Yen which is very low cost compare to the rental bicycle shop in Kyoto. The tatami living hall is very cozy and the overall environment is quiet and nice atmosphere. Will surely come back again.
