Although the property is so conveniently close to the train station, my friend and I still managed to almost miss our train to Sapporo… Ryo saved the day and drove us to the train station, carried both of our massive luggage bags up to the ticket booth, and helped us buy tickets just in time!

We LOVED this hostel! The staff were very nice, we were a 3 min walk from the mountain and shuttle to other ski areas. Good price for the area. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were cheap snacks to purchase in the front which was nice because there isn’t food nearby. There was a room to wax your gear. The showers were super AMAZING! There is also an Onsen a 5 minute walk away for 1000 yen. The lounge was very comfortable with a good vibe allowing us to make friends with a lot of awesome guests!

The room is really spacious! I never thought to have such a spacious apartment in Japan. There's everything you need inside the apartment and it feels like home! Just a few minutes walk to Coop, 711 and Sukiya is just a few minutes walk too! The location is literally just 3mins wall away from the main train station and bus terminal. Tho this is far from the popular ski resorts.

Situated 4.2 km from Hirafu Station, Owashi Lodge offers 2-star accommodation in Kutchan and has a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. Steve and Co. at the Owashi were wonderful hosts for my stay in Niseko. Very attentive crew willing to help you resolve a wide array of problems you may experience. I cant fault anything from the Owashi team, except maybe the live musician. Voice could do with some work
