The view is amazing. Staff is very caring, restaurant is nice. Bathroom and makeup room are great! I recommend the tent (Kumo)

Machicado ligger i Tamano og har en have, fælles opholdsområde og bar samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. Cozy place in a good location near the port. We stayed as a base to see Naoshima and Teshima. Staff was helpful and everything was clean and comfortable.

HIBARI HOUSE ligger 10 minutters kørsel fra Okayama Station, hvorfra gæsterne kan nå Hiroshima Station på 40 minutter med tog og Shin-Osaka Station på 50 minutter. I forgot something there and they went out of their way to send it to my new location!

Kamp Houkan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge's ligger blot 500 meter fra JR Okayama Stations vestlige udgang og har café med live-scene til djs og andre kunstnere. Beautiful Hostel! Loved the style, cool cafe/bar, nice staff!!!

Kikusui Ryokan ligger i Tamano, 24 km fra Sogenji Temple. Her er en have og værelser med aircondition. Very cozy place and good facilities.

北房まちの駅 AZAE ドリトミー azae ligger i Maniwa, 22 km fra Shoka Museum Ikegamitei og 23 km fra Bukeyashiki Kyu Oriike Kyu Haibarake. Her er en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Mr Sakamoto was a wonderful host! He does his job well as local town tourist information manager. He welcomed us, gave us some maps and answered our questions. It’s a converted Japanese house, not a hotel. We stayed in the cheaper dormitory part of the property. It was adequate. In the dormitory side the two rooms are upstairs and the toilet and small shower are downstairs. The toilets were clean and the kitchenette area under the stairs was adequate for simple dinner and breakfast we had. The local supermarket is a short distance away by car and open 9a-9p. Plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a morning walk along the lovely little river and through the town and countryside. The firefly park and pavilion were a short drive away but they were interesting to see. We’d love to go back in the spring during cherry blossom season and in early June for the firefly season. The stars were beautiful since there’s little light pollution!
