מקום האירוח Machicado שוכן בTamano, וכולל גינה, טרקלין משותף, בר ואינטרנט אלחוטי בחינם בכל רחבי מקום האירוח. Cozy place in a good location near the port. We stayed as a base to see Naoshima and Teshima. Staff was helpful and everything was clean and comfortable.

Hibari House Guest house is located a 10-minute drive from Okayama Station, from where guests can reach Hiroshima Station in 40 minutes by train and Shin-Osaka Station in 50 minutes. I forgot something there and they went out of their way to send it to my new location!

אכסניית קאמפ הוקאן-צ'ו (Kamp Huckan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge) נמצאת במרחק של 500 מטרים בלבד מהיציאה המערבית של תחנת הרכבת אוקיאמה (JR Okayama), והיא כוללת בית קפה עם הופעות חיות של תקליטנים... Beautiful Hostel! Loved the style, cool cafe/bar, nice staff!!!

Mr Sakamoto was a wonderful host! He does his job well as local town tourist information manager. He welcomed us, gave us some maps and answered our questions. It’s a converted Japanese house, not a hotel. We stayed in the cheaper dormitory part of the property. It was adequate. In the dormitory side the two rooms are upstairs and the toilet and small shower are downstairs. The toilets were clean and the kitchenette area under the stairs was adequate for simple dinner and breakfast we had. The local supermarket is a short distance away by car and open 9a-9p. Plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a morning walk along the lovely little river and through the town and countryside. The firefly park and pavilion were a short drive away but they were interesting to see. We’d love to go back in the spring during cherry blossom season and in early June for the firefly season. The stars were beautiful since there’s little light pollution!
