DENIM HOSTEL float ligger i Kurashiki, 16 km från Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park, och har en restaurang, rökfria rum, gratis WiFi och en bar. The view is amazing. Staff is very caring, restaurant is nice. Bathroom and makeup room are great! I recommend the tent (Kumo)

Machicado ligger i Tamano och erbjuder boende med trädgård, gemensam lounge och bar samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Cozy place in a good location near the port. We stayed as a base to see Naoshima and Teshima. Staff was helpful and everything was clean and comfortable.

HIBARI HOUSE ligger 10 minuters bilresa från stationen Okayama, varifrån du kan åka till Hiroshima Station på 40 minuter och till stationen Shin-Osaka på 50 minuter. WiFi är gratis i alla utrymmen. I forgot something there and they went out of their way to send it to my new location!

Kamp Houkan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge's ligger bara 500 meter från JR Okayamas västra utgång och har ett kafé med en livescen för DJ:s och andra konstnärer. Beautiful Hostel! Loved the style, cool cafe/bar, nice staff!!!

Kikusui Ryokan ligger i Tamano, 24 km från Sogenji Temple, och har luftkonditionerade rum och en trädgård. Very cozy place and good facilities.

北房まちの駅 AZAE ドリトミー azae ligger i Maniwa, inom 22 km från Shoka Museum Ikegamitei och 23 km från Bukeyashiki Kyu Oriike Kyu Haibarake, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen... Mr Sakamoto was a wonderful host! He does his job well as local town tourist information manager. He welcomed us, gave us some maps and answered our questions. It’s a converted Japanese house, not a hotel. We stayed in the cheaper dormitory part of the property. It was adequate. In the dormitory side the two rooms are upstairs and the toilet and small shower are downstairs. The toilets were clean and the kitchenette area under the stairs was adequate for simple dinner and breakfast we had. The local supermarket is a short distance away by car and open 9a-9p. Plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a morning walk along the lovely little river and through the town and countryside. The firefly park and pavilion were a short drive away but they were interesting to see. We’d love to go back in the spring during cherry blossom season and in early June for the firefly season. The stars were beautiful since there’s little light pollution!
