The staff were incredibly friendly and picked us up from the train station. He gave us the best food recommendations, advice on the sites to see and made us feel very welcome. You even get a view of Fuji to wake up to on the morning. Can't recommend staying here highly enough.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Great spot, relaxing and quiet.

Self check-in instructions were very clear and well made. The common areas both in the main and annex buildings had great selections of tea and coffee as well :)

I was very impressed and it was very over my expectation that the accommodation is very clean and comfortable, easy to get the attraction point, the great view of Mt.Fuji from the room and rooftop, very good facilities, internet access is very fast and easy moreover the staff can speak English fluently.
