Rinas was so helpful while I was in a stressful situation with my shuttle never arriving. He found another ride for me last minute and saved the day. 10/10 would recommend!

The hotel is beautifully located right near the beach, offering stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Our room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, with a private balcony that provided the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset. The amenities were top-notch, with a lovely outdoor ice bath. One of the highlights of our stay was the dining experience. The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious local and international dishes, and the breakfast buffet was a feast for the senses. Don't miss out on trying the fresh seafood! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering excellent service throughout our stay. They also helped us arrange various excursions, including a trip to the nearby kumana national park, which was an unforgettable adventure. Overall, dreamy Hostel Arugambay is a gem in Sri Lanka. Whether you’re looking for relaxation or adventure, this hotel has it all. I can't wait to return!

It had only just opened its doors and we were met with the warmest welcome from the manager who couldn’t do enough for us. Always went out of his way to accommodate us - sharing extra phone data with us, allowing late check - out due to work commitments, updating us to the air-con room because the fan room was under renovations but with no extra charge. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so so much
