Such a great hostel! Very social. Have a nightly family dinner at a fair price / good priced drinks / bonfire, weather permitting. It was so easy to meet people and the owners were very nice. Nice private room, quiet location on large road, but away from city center noise. Being in Nuwara Eliya was a welcome break from heat! Comfortable bed, room had a small table with two chairs and a sofa bed. Nice that the wall socket had two USB ports. Large spacious bathroom with great hot water. Nice western breakfast of fruit, omelette and toast. We hiked to Single Tree Hill and to Lover’s Leap Waterfall from the house. Haran the host spoke excellent English and his multicultural background enables him to be super welcoming. When he offered to cook dinner for us, I asked to watch his preparations and spent a delightful two hours learning about making curries, as well as learning more about the culture. Dinner was an excellent value as the portions were generous and food was freshly prepared.

This was a really amazing place to be, very clean, very confortable and honestly all the familly are really beautiful persons, polite and humble hosts, they bring me to see around by car and motorbike, was gorgeous!! I highly recommend it. They offer pick up and drop for a reasonable price, is wonderfull. I dont know when but shure I will be back, Thanks u soo much!! I allways will keep LAXAPANA in my heart
