Die Unterkunft Eden Kandy, die in Kandy gelegen ist und von der aus Einkaufszentrum Kandy City Centre in weniger als 1,5 km erreichbar ist, bietet Nichtraucher Zimmer, einen Garten, kostenloses WLAN... Die Unterkunft war schön sauber und hell. Der Besitzer ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Durch meinen Tag davor war ich sehr ko und habe bis 10 Uhr geschlafen und somit Frühstück verpasst . Er hat mir ein neues Frühstück gemacht worüber ich sehr dankbar. Am Ankunftstag hat er mir via WhatsApp eine Menge Restaurant Vorschläge zugesendet .Ideal da man dann nicht selbst schauen muss. Für die weiterreise nach Nuwara Eliya hat er mir einen Tuk tuk Fahrer besorgt der einen zwischenstop einlegte um mir snacks zu holen . Danach ging es zur Local Bus station . Dies hat er für mich alles reibungslos organisiert. Habe mich als allein Reisende sehr wohl gefühlt.

Asanka was the most knowledgeable and accomodating host for anyone interested in a better understanding of local tradition and history. He makes it his mission to ensure everyone who comes to stay enjoys Kandy and leaves with a better understanding of the town. The traditional breakfast made by Asanka’s aunties was also outstanding.

Die Unterkunft Cozy Nest Kandy Villa, die in Kandy, 1,4 km von Kandy Museum entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem kostenlosen Privatparkplatz, einer... soo clean, comfy beds, great helpful host who works hard but is always smiling, great location, filling breakfast, good wifi. 4 bed dorm was spacious with own bathroom and locker. aircon and fan. all really good. totally recommend. only 200/300 rupees to get to town on pickme or 20 min walk. host offered me tea in the afternoon for no charge. good for solo travellers as met nice people.

The owner was so nice in kind, she cooked us the best meal. The room is spacios, clean... the location is peacefull. We absolutely loved everything about this stay! 🤍

Their rooftop restaurant was awesome! Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.

Nihal, the owner, took care of me right from my arrival till I left the property. Upon arrival, he greeted me warmly and offered me a pot of coffee. We then talked for several minutes like we were old friends who’ve just reunited! The next day, when it was time for me to leave, he talked to my ride to make sure I arrive at the train station on time. He also helped me carry my luggage. Nihal is such a great person! The property itself is located on a hill with a nice view of the other hill surrounding the Kandy Lake. I really liked the vibe of the property - it is serene and green. It is also just a 20 min walk to the Temple of the Tooth Relic! While others here lamented about the fact that it’s a 20 min walk, I on the other hand enjoyed the walk around the lake. At night, I just took the cab back to the property and it costed only US$1. The room is also big and the bathroom is clean. Hot water is also working.
