Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at as a female solo traveller. The place is run by a very talented group of women. They made me feel so safe , cared for, and inspired . The atmosphere . Very cosy and personal. Times sat around the table filling out five logbooks, stretching, learning Spanish and the “chisme” , sharing stories, learning about the island and the history of the place. It’s a very special place especially if you like yoga, diving, snorkelling and surfing.

Conveniently established in the animated city center of San Miguel, Hostel Auikyani is located at only one block away from the island ferry pier. Staff members were really nice and helpful, bathrooms were great, our room had a big wardrobe, is a good place to make friends and right next to the ferry docks
