From the moment I stepped in the door, I felt so welcomed. The location, rooms, and cleanliness are top-notch, but it’s the exceptional hospitality here that stands out for me. I have stayed in many hostels and home stays around the world… but hands down, here beats’em all. As a solo female in a foreign country, the love, warmth, and care I received from Gaby and Luis made me feel so supported and not want to leave! They make a delicious (free) breakfast for you with such love, and it’s obvious that they truly enjoy looking after their guests. Gaby helped me a lot with my Español, and Luis fussed over me and made sure I was okay when hiring one of their very cool scooters! Their son, Johnathon, is super lovely and helpful, and gave me a lot of advice as well as vouchers to use. Valladolid was wonderful, but staying here was definitely a highlight for me. 🫶

Jacque's Beachside Hostel has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Progreso. Jacque was a delight to chat with. Dogs are adorable and so friendly. Beds are very comfortable, sheets very fresh - I slept great! Good shower. The house itself is really nice and close to the beach. I liked the outdoor seating areas as well. Highly recommended!

It's a very comfortable hotel/hostel, with a really nice natural aestethics. Location was really good, walking distance to everywhere you need. The owner Javier is an amazing guy, always there and extremely helpful. He gave us hints on the best cenotes, which were amazing and completely off the touristic track. Excelent value for money for the private room. We will deffinitelly stay there again when in Valladolid. As a bonus, there is an awesome restaurant in front of it (Oaxaca). And dont forget to go to Doña Tere too.

Ive stayed in a lot of hostels and this has been one of the best ones! Great breakfast, lovely staff, you can rent bikes, free water, really clean dorms and bathrooms (I really liked the outside bathrooms too, felt very fresh!) Bathrooms aren’t in the dorms which is nice because then there’s no humidity or weird smells from the showers. Privacy curtains, shelves and little light above bed. Air con and fan. The place had a really friendly calm vibe. WhatsApp group to exchange recommendations and activities in the evening. LOVED this place.

Excellent location, very close to Paseo Montejo and Paseo 60 where you can have food and drinks. Walking distance to get Va y Ven buses and combis to downtown and Malls. The kitchen is well equipped that make you feel like home. The staff members are young but eager to help us if we get questions.
