Jacque's Beachside Hostel has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Progreso. I rented a bed in the hostel dorm, and it was a lovely experience. Extremely helpful host who will give great local recommendations, and the accommodations are clean, safe and fun

It felt like a tiny resort somewhere in the dessert. It is located 20 min walk from the center. It’s also quiet so you can work by the pool and head out to town in the evening when the temperature goes down

We stayed in an private room with private bathroom. Everything was impeccable. Everything about the room was very comfortable (bed, shower, AC, presence of a private balcony) and the overall Hostel & Hotel is really nice with great common areas (such as the pool).

Amazing location, staff (Susan, Fernando and everyone else) and facilities. Must do and stay in Valladolid. The garden in the back is well-maintained, the shared bathrooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious. They also have events set up every night for people to attend which made our stay even better. We met some lovely fellow-travellers at the hostel the 2 nights we were there. Good accessibility to the town center and the Cenote on the middle of the town. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. 15/10 !!

The staff, especially Mae and Alexis, are amazing! Really helpful, friendly, and positive. The design of the hotel is really excellent, with the rooms facing the courtyard so that you feel a family vibe seeing everyone through the day. And the hotel design has great materials and convenience. We are a couple and had our own bathroom, but the shared toilets and sinks in the public area are also very well designed. The hotel is well maintained and the cleaning crew really works well each morning and day to keep things spotless. The activities and tips and organized tours and drinking games are fun and active. We liked all of this. We have stayed in many hotels but really enjoyed this one a lot!
