It was a quick trip for me to get my bike fixed. I had a booking in the afternoon and went there directly. When I book a hostel, I always look for a bed with a curtain because I need privacy when I sleep. The bunk bed is comfy! The room size matches the number of guests (maximum 6 people). There is an ensuite bathroom in the dorm, but there’s also a central bathroom as well. It’s really clean! One thing I love the most is how functional the central bathroom is — there are two hangers and a shelf for my belongings. This is always a problem in some hostels because I never know where to put my clothes, towel, and shower set. The staff are really nice; she explained all the areas to me. The kitchen is clean too. I think it was almost full because I went on a weekend, but it wasn’t chaotic like many other places. If I have a solo trip to Taupo, I will definitely book this hostel again.

Con un giardino, una sala comune, una terrazza e il WiFi gratuito, Crashpalace Backpackers è situato a Rotorua, a 4,4 km da Stadio Internazionale Rotorua e 12 km da Paradise Valley Springs. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they gave us a short tour around the place (bar, kitchen, hot tub, etc.) and explained how everything works plus gave us useful tips about things to do in Rotorua, where to eat and similar. The room is quite nice too, has everything you need, much better than what we expected. Location of the Crash palace is excellent, would definitely come back if I find myself in Rotorua again!
