Everything about my stay was perfect – by far my best experience on the island! Frank and Yenita are incredible hosts, and the location is unbeatable: sea views from every corner of the property surrounded by lush jungle. The hostel has such a peaceful atmosphere — calm, relaxing, and ideal if you want to disconnect and recharge. On top of that, there are friendly dogs and cats to pet, which makes it feel even more like home! The place is well-furnished, with a spacious kitchen to cook and an overall great vibe. I 100% recommend it and will definitely come back :) (That said, if you don’t appreciate community living, cleanliness, and calm, this may not be the place for you.)

Franco and his mother Emily were one of the most welcoming and nice people i got to meet while traveling to the French Polenesya. If you are looking for a simple and clean accomodation, that also help supporting the local community - I highly recommend it!!

Quiet location nearby airport. For people who are used to sleep in dormitory it is good option for night after or before flight. Fruits on the table and offer of lift to Papeete.

I had a very relaxing stay at Ravehei Smile in Punaauia. The place was peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature — perfect for unwinding. The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The host was kind and welcoming, and communication was easy. The location is a bit outside the city center, which I actually liked — it felt calm and local, but still close enough to reach Papeete by car. Overall, it’s a lovely spot if you’re looking for a quiet stay with a warm atmosphere. I would happily return.
