Everything about my stay was perfect – by far my best experience on the island! Frank and Yenita are incredible hosts, and the location is unbeatable: sea views from every corner of the property surrounded by lush jungle. The hostel has such a peaceful atmosphere — calm, relaxing, and ideal if you want to disconnect and recharge. On top of that, there are friendly dogs and cats to pet, which makes it feel even more like home! The place is well-furnished, with a spacious kitchen to cook and an overall great vibe. I 100% recommend it and will definitely come back :) (That said, if you don’t appreciate community living, cleanliness, and calm, this may not be the place for you.)

Maui Homestay er staðsett í Tohautu, 300 metra frá Maui-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis reiðhjólum, ókeypis einkabílastæði og garð. This place was just insane! It's impossible to imagine a better view than here (we were just super sad that we came before the whale season and we did not have a chance to watch them through the window!). Very private, very comfy, with extremely cool, helpful and chatty owners (with very good English!). What a shame that we could stay here only one night!

KIA ORA LODGE er staðsett í Afaahiti og býður upp á ókeypis reiðhjól, útisundlaug, garð og sameiginlega setustofu. Gististaðurinn státar af sameiginlegu eldhúsi og verönd. Owner was lovely. The bungalow was awesome and cozy.

SelfStay Inn Faaa is set in Faaa, within 6.2 km of Paofai Gardens and 9.4 km of Museum of Tahiti. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Just 15 minutes by foot from the airport , with a super market in the corner and the main road for take public transport to other spots of the island ! Great ! There is a beautiful park just 15 minutes away who is great for do some exercises of just chill under a palm tree Fridge , freezer and a kitchen with everything that you need , perfect !

Laure hébergement er staðsett í Faaa, í innan við 4,2 km fjarlægð frá Paofai Gardens og 11 km frá Tahiti-safninu. Amazing place close to the airport. The hosts went out of their way to welcome me at 3am after my flight got delayed. The facilities were clean and inviting.

I had a very relaxing stay at Ravehei Smile in Punaauia. The place was peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature — perfect for unwinding. The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The host was kind and welcoming, and communication was easy. The location is a bit outside the city center, which I actually liked — it felt calm and local, but still close enough to reach Papeete by car. Overall, it’s a lovely spot if you’re looking for a quiet stay with a warm atmosphere. I would happily return.
