I stayed at Vedya for 5 nights and I wished it was longer. This little gem had an amazing vibe and people. The rooms were big enough to accommodate six people at the same time. Curtains provided privacy, aircon kept the room cool. I loved how the beds were built in the walls so that people on top did not disturb the downstairs. The cafe had a very good lunch and beautiful smoothie bowls. Ysa and Bea checked in regularly to make sure everything was all right and attended all the inquiries promptly. Great place to start or finish your journey. Not only the staff but the people who stayed there are amazing as well. I will definitely go back and stay longer.

A real hidden gem up north in Burgos!

It s located in a small village which is surrounded by other villages where you can find every need in. This hostel has has an incredible intimate social space where you can meet exceptional, interesting, kind and genuine, like minded people who are looking to have some quiet from the hustle and bustle of General Luna. The staff are just as welcoming and lovely, extremely helpful and kind and will always lend a helping hand for whatever need you have. This place let's you connect with the locals in a way you rarely see and it's truly a wonderful experience. On top of all that it s very comfortable, close to amazing beaches and can give you a great "home" vibe especially on longer stays.

Sir JJ and Gino were great hosts, providing recommendations on what you can do around the island and help when requested. They helped with arranging transport from and to the airport and also arranged motorbike for me to use to go around the island. Their restaurant in the location serves great food and great atmosphere. On the nights, the area was very peaceful, and I was able to get a good night sleep. Also very close to the beach, mini-shops, cafés and walkable distance.

I met lot of great people there. It s very clean, very social, with activities and family diners. Good location next to the beach.

When I was moving I couldn’t take all our stuff on the bike at once so they even drove with me to bring the stuff. Also the kitchen is super well equipped and I absolutely love the tranquil atmosphere, the garden is like a beautiful jungle.

Amazing staff, rooms, beds, cleanliness, and vibes. Christian was my favorite staff and he made sure to take care of any requests to make sure my stay was perfect. The rooms were also very clean, beds were comfortable, and the space was very private with a closable wooden door. There is even a closet for your clothes in your pod! There are always people socializing in the lounge and restaurant area, and Sunday nights are their big party across the street from the hostel in their beach club. I will definitely be staying here again during my next visit to Siargao!
