As soon as I checked in Pedro provided me with a map and a suggestions on activities. My room was a two-bed dorm, but I had it to my self. Lovely space. They even provide yoga mats and have an honesty box for food/beverages. Lovely, clean, quiet hostel in a beautiful part of Portugal. I did two hikes that Pedro recommended. Fantastic!

Douro Village features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Vila Real. A beautiful old building with a private garden. Very comfortable shared areas. Excellent staff who were so helpful and friendly. They kindly stored our bikes.
