The breakfast is amazing, Seixal is amazing, natural pools, the hike to Fanal Forest, the common area, everything is 10/10.

29 Madeira Hostel set in the centre of Funchal, Madeira Island. The property offers budget accommodation in dormitories and private rooms. We had a private room with shared bath. It was super clean and very comfortable. We did not have a problem with noise at all. Towels and linens included in our stay. We enjoyed visiting the nearby museum and garden (Musea da Quinta das Cruzes) which is just a short walk away. This hostel was a great value.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I met some great people during my visit. The kitchen was a highlight - it is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. The hostel is very calm, clean, and well-maintained. The location is also perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the ocean.

Situated in Porto Santo, 400 metres from Porto Santo Beach, Porto Santo Destination features accommodation with a garden, private parking and a shared lounge. I had an amazing time staying in Porto Santo Destination hostel! It was so calm and quiet, perfect space to wind down and especially during low season you get the ultimate perk of having basically no people at the beaches ;) Sofia the host was super friendly and helpful... couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Nice kitchen and facilities! Just keep in mind that you have to do groceries etc in the centre, as there's only a small restaurant around (which is cheap and good though). And it's a different island than Madeira itself, not everyone may know this ;)

Featuring a garden and a bar, Jaca Hostel Funchal is set in Funchal, 800 metres from Almirante Reis Beach and 700 metres from Marina do Funchal. Nice location in the old center of Funchal, near the bus stop to/from Funchal airport (5-10 min walk) and with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Check in/out was very easy, access was controlled by a web app and was frictionless. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in had an en suite bathroom and airconditioning which was great. The bed was comfortable and had curtains for privacy. There's also a cafe for food/drinks.
