The room has everything you need, I was really happy there was a free coffee there. The owner is very helpful and friendly. If you travel by car, it’s really convenient to leave it at this place, the price is much more affordable than in the airport parking lot. I am glad I stayed there.

It says hostel, but it is very similar to a hotel. You have everything you need, including soap, towels, a nice shared kitchen. It is quiet. We arrived in the middle of the night and everything went good. Communication is good.

We stayed in the triple room with a private bathroom and we were very happy with it. The bathroom was spacious. Helga was very friendly and helpful and spoke great English. She showed us that there was a closer entrance to the Turda Salt Mines just a 20 minute walk away. The kitchen was well equipped for making a decent meal, and there is a balcony attached to the kitchen which is nice for dinner and breakfast. There are two friendly dogs on the premises. The house is just a five minute walk to the town with grocery stores and good coffee.

Situated in a pedestrian area inside Cluj-Napoca's mediaeval city wall, Hostel Retro offers 24-hour reception, free bicycles, as well as a sauna for a surcharge. The place is really cozy, quiet, clean and the comunication with the people really easy and helpful. The location is very convenient, in the old town, bus stations near,, with bars, attractions and many shops around Totally recommended
