So friendly and welcoming. The food was great and tasty (5 USD for dinner) Location is good 20 minutes from the Arusha but it's so peaceful. A lot of bananas to eat 😋 Will definitely return back to this place! Asante Sana!!

Was pleasantly surprised after entering the location. Its a small place, but very well decorated and maintained. The staff working there is great and the food is absolutely amazing. Loved the dinner that they served for a very minimal amount. The breakfast was great as well and freshly prepared for you at the time you want it. There is a nice space outside as well for a bonfire where you can relax at the end of the day. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was a good size. Although, i never met the owner personally, he ensured that my stay was nothing short of exceptional. Definitely will recommend to travelers looking to stay near the city away from the hustle & bustle of Arusha.

This hostel definitely lived up to the recommendations I'd read . I've had an awesome stay here. Met some incredible fellow travellers from around the world. The staff are just wonderful as is the owner. Loved the washing machine, the kitchen facilities were great too ( just need more knives) , which I believe has already been fed back to the owner.. I'll honestly miss this wonderful place .

The property is beautifully maintained and offers a peaceful, green environment that truly feels like an oasis in the heart of Arusha — the perfect place to unwind after the excitement and long days of a safari. The bungalows are simply lovely: spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with great attention to detail. I loved waking up surrounded by nature and enjoying the calm atmosphere. Every corner of the villa is thoughtfully designed to create a relaxing experience. The food was another highlight — fresh, delicious, and served with great care. Every meal was a treat. But what really makes Serengeti Villa stand out is the people. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely make you feel like part of their family. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful place to relax before or after your safari, Serengeti Villa is the perfect choice. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Arusha.

Savannah House was a welcoming and calm place to spend our first night in Tanzania! The room was very clean and comfortable and outside area was beautiful and comfortable, with plenty of places to sit and enjoy. The staff were very kind, genuine and accommodating and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. They lit a fire in the fireplace and cooked a delicious, authentic dinner and breakfast!

Situated in Arusha, 2.8 km from Uhuru monument, Arusha backpackers homes features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The hostel was super chill, had comfy beds, clean.. and the staff were absolutely great, so helpful. Great value for the price, would definitely recommend!

Serengeti Home has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Arusha. The property is set 6.7 km from Old German Boma, 7.2 km from Uhuru monument and 32 km from Meserani Snake Park. We had an amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — every meal felt like it was prepared with great care and fresh ingredients, offering local flavors. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. One of the biggest highlights was how well they arranged all the transportation for our tours and airport pickups/drop-offs. After a long day out, it was great to come back to such a quiet and comfortable place to rest. I'll definitely be back! Asante sana!

Osotwa Maasai Hostel er staðsett í Arusha, 3,7 km frá Uhuru-minnisvarðanum og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlega setustofu og verönd. - very friendly staff, let us check in early and kept our luggage when we went on safari - nice breakfast prepared for us each morning - location is good, there's options for cheap local food around and you can reach the inner city in around 30min walking - generally a quiet area - monkeys sometimes visit the property and chill in the inner yard, which is nice to watch

They helped us a lot around Arusha Dinner was good We could stay longer and not check out early because we had a late flight We loved that they have mosquito nets.
