Everything about this hostel was amazing. Reuben, the manager, went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, such a great vibe! The whole place is spotless, seriously one of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever seen. The location is perfect and there are always fun activities going on, which makes it super easy to meet people. I’ll 100% stay here again next time I’m in San Diego!

Ideally set in the Downtown San Diego, Gaslamp Hostel features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. This was the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at in North America. Everything was spotless. The design of the hostel was great. I loved how the dining area was in a loft above the kitchen and that there were plugins even in the dining area. There was a filtered water-bottle-filling station. Staff were very accommodating about me needing to change dates.
