It was my first time staying in a hostel in a shared room and I loved it. The staff is extremely attentive and always tries to help with any questions. The bathroom in the room is cleaned daily and the shower is excellent, which made showering after a day at the beach amazing. On top of that, the beds are comfortable, the bed linens are clean, and the towels are fresh as well. The common areas of the hostel are great for relaxing and socializing. I felt safe the entire time, and there are lockers inside the rooms to store personal items. Finally, the location is perfect—close to the beach and everything you need to fully enjoy Honolulu. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hostel again.

Great place in the middle of a lava field so no light pollution the stars are very clear and not far fork good beaches and Hilo. We were welcomed and made to feel very at home. Breakfast was delicious.

Situato a Wailuku, a 4,7 km da Iao Valley State Park, Howzit Hostels prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato, una sala comune e una terrazza. A great great hostel!! Amazing, super helpful and fun staff, that also executed free trips around Maui. The hostel was really spaceous and clean, the kitchen and the showers (with provided shampoo and soap) all look quite new, there is also a laundry room inside. We had a great free pancake breakfast in the morning by the staff and the hostel also offers some snorkeling gear, organizes a karaoke night and a bbq night with a cheaper meal and drinks. Overall such a good feeling, also due to fellow travelers, who are in majority in their early 20s. There is also free parking available on the street from the hours of 6pm-10am, which is enough, because you usually are gone during the day if you are there by car. Location is great to go anywhere in the island quickly, but otherwise it is not a really preety neighbourhood, you cannot really go for a walk around it, there is not much to see and you would also need to drive or uber to a beach. But there are many ppl who would share that uber or you would catch a bus. A really great value for the money and such a fun stay!!

I loved the price! Accomodation on big island is really expensive 🙈 however, even it was cheap this room was spacious, clean, and all we needed to rest. It's located next to some bar, so we heard music coming out from the street, but once we closed the windows it wasn't an issue at all. The neighbourhood is not the safast one, however, on the property have had 3 locks on the way getting into the room that made us feel secure. .
