I stayed at MyCrib Hostel in Houston for four nights and had a wonderful experience. Harrord and Katy are truly amazing hosts who make you feel right at home with their hospitality and good energy. The vibe of the hostel is very relaxed and welcoming, with a diverse mix of guests from different ages and cultures. The hostel is also very central and on a walking distance to many bus and tram connections. What I loved most is that you can easily choose between chilling quietly or connecting with other travelers, both options feel perfectly natural here. Since the hostel is literally a house, the combination of the cozy space, the guests’ positive attitude, and Harrord and Katy’s warm hosting creates a homelike atmosphere that makes you never want to leave. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine, friendly, and home-like hostel stay in Houston.

Located in Austin's oldest standing fire station, this unique hostel offers conveniences such as free WiFi. The Texas Capitol Building is 0.5 miles away. The facilities were cleaned and well kept, and at the heart of the city it was a GREAT location! I CAN’T believe I was able to stay at this place for so cheap.

Checking in was smooth. The facilities were clean. All of the roommates were polite, respectful and quiet at night. People booking here NEED to realize that this is a hostel, not a hotel. You won't find better rates for this quality. I would absolutely stay here again; short term or long.

Bare 14 kilometer fra Texas Southern University og 14 kilometer fra NRG Stadium ligger Haystack Hostel, som tilbyr overnatting i Houston. The hostel was extremely dirty and poorly located. I had to complete the online check-in twice and never received any confirmation email or the door codes. There were cockroaches on the floor, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The bed was uncomfortable and disgusting. Most of the guests looked like homeless people, and I genuinely felt unsafe during my stay. One positive note: the lady working there was helpful and opened my door in the middle of the night when it accidentally locked after I went to the bathroom. Other than that, it was a terrible experience. This place is not safe, not clean, and definitely not worth the price.
