Yo y mi amiga tendríamos que salir temprano, porque iríamos a Montevideo pedaleando (somos cicloviajeras) y adelantaran el horario del desayuno (que estaba muy rico y sabroso) para nosotras. Las camas, duchas, y ubicación son muy buenas. El dormitorio/habitación es silenciosa, logramos descansar. Es un lugar muy tranquilo.

La Quinta Hostel Bar is located in La Barra, Punta del Este. The establishment is located 10 km from downtown Punta del Este and "Los Dedos" beach, 5 km from Manantiales and 20 km from José Ignacio. Very nice staff and especially welcoming at our arrival. Nice and calm atmosphere throughout our stay (in November). Good room with everything you need. A variety of board games and such available. Definitely would come back and can hence be recommended!

Salty House La Barra has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Punta del Este. I’m traveling for 6 months and this was by far the best hostel I stayed in. The staff became like friends and the atmosphere is amazing. If you image a surfculture, this has the surfculture. The ultimate place to come to rest, close to a perfect beach and the nice streets of la barra. I would recommend this hostel all day to people. This hostel is for me a reason to come back to Uruguay next year. A big big fan here. Thanks for the wonderful stay here Cami, Vicky, Lu and Ines
