La Quinta Hostel Bar is located in La Barra, Punta del Este. The establishment is located 10 km from downtown Punta del Este and "Los Dedos" beach, 5 km from Manantiales and 20 km from José Ignacio. Very nice staff and especially welcoming at our arrival. Nice and calm atmosphere throughout our stay (in November). Good room with everything you need. A variety of board games and such available. Definitely would come back and can hence be recommended!

I have been travelling for 6 months and there are very few places that I felt instantly home. To start, Gloria and Willie were so patient to stay up for me when I arrived on a late bus to Pirapolis and I was so glad to see the lovely home that awaited me when i arrived. I slept amazingly in the clean and comfortable dorm room they provide and woke up to an amazing fresh breakfast the next day. I was only booked for 1 day but stayed 5 because they make you feel comfortable and the area has beautiful beaches to swim in and so many coastal and mountain walks to do every day! It's a slice of heaven. Gracias por todas Gloria & Willie❤️

Mundaka Hostel y Bar features a large garden with an outdoor pool. The hostel has free WiFi access in all areas. We only spent one night there as we were only stopping over before our flight the next morning, and as soon as we set foot in the hostel we wished we had stayed longer. It’s a very cool place, tidy and spotless clean (smells great too!). Super friendly and helpful staff, has a huge garden with a swimming pool and a little restaurant, perfect for socialising and relaxing. Tasty breakfast. Great stay! Would love to come back and enjoy it properly.

Salty House La Barra has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Punta del Este. I’m traveling for 6 months and this was by far the best hostel I stayed in. The staff became like friends and the atmosphere is amazing. If you image a surfculture, this has the surfculture. The ultimate place to come to rest, close to a perfect beach and the nice streets of la barra. I would recommend this hostel all day to people. This hostel is for me a reason to come back to Uruguay next year. A big big fan here. Thanks for the wonderful stay here Cami, Vicky, Lu and Ines

Located in Punta del Este, 2.9 km from Punta del Este Brava Beach, Negrita Hostel provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. We had a private room in a bit older building of the hostel, but it was a large room, with a good, big bed and a perfect shower (even a rain shower!). Wifi worked very well. There are a couple of common rooms which you can also use, even if you have booked a private room. That's very nice in the evening. It's nice that the breakfast includes fresh fruit. Regarding the price, the stay is absolutely good value for money. But what really makes Negrita Hostel the absolutely perfect stay is owner Camillo: he is very friendly, attentive and gave us a lot of information: restaurants in the area, but also in Punta del Este and even on the way to Montevideo. Also good information about museums, sights, things to do,... I would absolutely stay in Negrita Hostel again if I would travel to the region again.

Del Barcito Hostel offers comfortable rooms in Punta del Este, 300 metres from Mansa beach. The property is 200 metres from the commercial area and 300 metres from the Casino. They have a policy to keep it silent from 1:00, so if you're light sleeper keep that in mind. But otherwise it's good.

The host was so flexible and nice and the house was just beautiful… Clean, big just enough, bookshelves filled with board games, pencils and papers for drawing and many more. The garden was full of vegetables and kitchen fully equipped and it was just around 5 minutes walking to the beach and also 5 minutes to a small store

Offering sea views and located only 100 metres from the beach, Planet Punta del Este Hostel offers budget accommodations in Punta del Este. Service is good, place looks clean, feels safe and comfortable. Recommended. I enjoyed a beautiful weekend and enjoyed the beach at Punta del Este.
