I loved it here,a very comfortable hostel in a nice safe area. Annette is such a lovely host,she makes everyone feel so welcome and is up very early to provide guests with a lovely breakfast buffet. When you arrive back in the evening,there is always freshly homemade cakes and snacks available.

While it might not be the cheapest in the area, the staff makes up for the few dollars more. Nicolette and Frederico were exceptional and made me feel welcomed and like it was home. It was quiet, great location, free coffee and safe. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Montevideo

Great staff and accomodations. Spent just one day there but everyone was nice and welcoming! If I happen to visit Montevideo again I'll for sure repeat my stay at youki haus.

The staff were amazing, helpful, and kind. The dorm room had its own bathroom, and the hostel had full kitchen facilities! It's a beautiful old building and a fantastic location in the old city!

With large spaces a full kitchen with refrigerators, and freezers, lockers,community room, with free coffee, an amazing rooftop with recliners, a barbecue, a grill and beautiful views of the port. Conveniently located in Ciudad Vieja, the old city, the original settlement, it offers plenty of places to walk, ride a bike, and historic museums and monuments, also many nearby stores, convenient stores and parking lots. It offers the casual traveler, the tourist or digital nomads a place to stay at affordable prices.
