In the morning free buffet, one of the kitchen staff offered to make me separate pancakes without egg as the usual ones contain egg without any extra charges. Best stay we had in vietnam with huge clean rooms and comfy beds.

The location is 3 minutes drive from the center, but I was happy to be in a calmer environment, by the river. The breakfast was delucious, you can choose from 4 options (noodle soup with egg, banana pancake, lemon pancake and omlette). As I always eat a lot for breakfast, sometimes I ordered an extra portion (additional price ~30k vnd), but normally it is enough and delicious. The staff is superkind, when we arrived they picked us up at the bus station at 10:30pm. They speak good english as well. Our room was sapcious and clean, good water pressure in the shower. It would be nice to have a wardrobe or aomething to put our towels on, otherwise everything was good. Vwry good value for the price! One of my favourite accomodation in Vietnam so far:))

Our guests Kien and Phuong were very welcoming and made us feel part of the family. They also arranged our tour to Botanical gardens, Paradise cave and Phong Nha cave as they own one of the tour companies in town. We were picked up and dropped off outside the accommodation. The room was clean and tidy with a large bathroom and great hot water. The bed was very comfortable which is always a bonus when travelling. YoLo is a short walk or bike ride to town if you want to go to other restaurants, cafes, massages or local market stalls. Kien and Phuong hosted a Luna New Year party while we were there and invited us as well as other guests to join them. We got to experience wonderful food and drink with their friends. We had a fun night. The following evening they invited us to eat dinner with them. We enjoyed this experience and can't thank them enough for sharing it with us. It will stick with us for along time and we will most definitely come back to stay there.

Hung -the owner- is amazing. He welcomes each guest with such enthusiasm and attentiveness. He is truly passionate about his work and about the activities there are to around Phong Nha. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. We usually do family dinners, which are amazing, the people this lodge attracts are also very interesting travelers from all over the world. A very nice mix of all ages, type sof travelers and nationalities.
