Built into the natural landscape of the hill, winding stone paths and steps lead through the property and take you to each of the four gorgeously secluded cottages. Wooden gingerbread cottages each with an ocean view, cool breezes and open layouts allow you to experience a uniquely Caribbean vacation. The shabby chic colonial interiors have been individually decorated and furnished with an eclectic mix of European antiques, renovated finds and Caribbean art. Wonderful details like locally fired and hand painted tiles and face basins, four poster beds and wooden painted shutters are a delight for your eyes daily. Galley Bay Cottages are located few steps from Galley Bay Beach and half of a mile form Five Islands Village . The Capital St John’s is only 4 miles away . Five islands is a quiet rural area and the beaches, including Hawksbill and Deep Bay, are always quiet and never crowded. The village is quiet and the habitants are friendly. Many roaming animals live free along the valley and on the surrounding hills , it is very common to see goats cows and horses . On the week ends it is possible to have a taste of the traditional dishes that locals cook and sell on their front yard . There are no fancy restaurants but just a couple of boots were you can find a cold drink and a snack.
