Oasis Bed and Breakfast is located outside of Puerto Iguazú on the way to the fabulous Iguazú Falls. The property is large, 2/3 of an hectar, with a vast amount of native plants and trees attracting many varieties of local birds and butterflies. If your looking to wake up to the sounds of birds singing, this place is for you. Depending on the time of year, you will see parrots eating the wild fruit of the pitanga tree or the toucans eating the ambai and pecans During the summer months your serenated by the mating calls of the Cicades (Chicharra) During the spring months (August and September) a large display of wild orchids in bloom can be enjoyed.
I'm delighted to share a much loved property by my grandmother, great-aunt and mother. Although, not a native born of Argentina, I've spent my formative years in Argentina. Now, I'm returning to the area to share with guest many of the local customs, food and hospitality.
The neighborhood is outside of town in the area called, "Zona de Granjas or Zona de Cabañas". It's on a typical dirt road displaying the much loved red dirt of Misiones, not far from the main road, Ruta 12. Bus stops are within walking distances, as well as other tourist attractions such as the Aripica, Culturas Park, Bio centro, Güira Oga and the Ice Bar.
