Quietly situated on the slopes above the Lake Zell, the family-run Jausenstation Pfefferbauer features an à la carte restaurant serving regional cuisine, a large terrace with picturesque views, and rooms with a balcony and a flat-screen satellite TV. Free WiFi is available. All rooms are decorated in contemporary Alpine style with wooden furnishings and floor heating. Each room also have an en-suite marble bathroom with a fitted shower and provided with a hairdryer. Half-board can be booked on site. The garden features a children’s playground, and there is also a playroom for children. A ski storage room and free private parking are available as well. The Pfefferbauer Jausenstation is a 5-minute drive from the Schmittenhöhe Ski Resort, and a 15-minute drive from both the Kitzsteinhorn and the Saalbach-Hinterglemm Ski Areas. Cross-country skiing and tobogganing are possible 10 minutes away by car. Indoor ice skating facilities can be reached in 5 minutes by car or a 25-minute walk. Lake Zell is a 15-minute walk from the Pfefferbauer Hotel. The town of Zell am See is a 5-minute drive or a 30-minute walk away. The Tauern Spa thermal bath and the Golfclub Zell am See-Kaprun can both be reached in 10 minutes by car. From mid-May to mid-October, the Zell am See-Kaprun Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts, including free use of local cable cars and buses.

Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Guests arriving on Monday can only be checked in after 18:00. The check-out time of 10:00 must be strictly adhered to. Any newly started hour costs EUR 50. Please note the varying opening times of the restaurant: Closed on Mondays throughout the year April - June: restaurant is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for lunch and dinner July - September: restaurant is open Tuesdays to Thursdays from 17:00 for dinner and Fridays to Sundays for lunch and dinner October: restaurant is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for lunch and dinner December - March: restaurant is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 17:00 for dinner, and from Friday to Sunday it is open for lunch and dinner Hot food available until 20:30 Please note that the restaurant is closed on 24 December.
