The outstanding thing about each of our apartments is the fantastic view over Lienz and of the surrounding Lienzer Dolomites, each apartment has a very large balcony that you can sit and eat on and enjoy the view, all of the accommodation faces south so there is sun all day. The House was built for the view!
We ended up here dor organising a rally for vintage cars. Soon we fell in love with the area and the people. We love Austria and the mountains, the walking, skiing and friendly people are all exceptional. It is lovely that Lienz is within walking distance. Because it fulfils a regional function, there are many shops. And it also appeals to us that it has a Mediterranean climate. So much sunshine - lovely.
Our neighbourhood is on the sunny side of the valley walking from the house there are spectacular views, the walk to the town of Lienz is very nice down hill all the way, there are a couple of restaurants near to the house within easy walking distance. In the garden and fields around the house you can sledge or play in the fields or snow, you can also buy eggs and milk in the neighbouring farms.
