A modern, airconditioned private studio apartment, set on 5 Acres of lush and tropical grounds. Located just off the Arnhem Highway, only 5 mins drive from the World Famous Humpty Doo Hotel and the local Humpty Doo conveniences including Woolworths. This is a great place to base yourself in the Top End to explore, to relax or for work/ business. Our property is in a quiet rural area, we live here onsite in a separate home with our 2 friendly dogs, chickens and ducks. Please note: We have a large pond/lake in the gardens, so this property is unsuitable for children 12 years or under.
My husband Geoff and I have traveled for many years, and now call the Humpty Doo in the Northern Territory 'home'. We like to share our piece of NT paradise with travelers also. We speak English at home but Geoff also has good knowledge of German. We love the landscapes and wildlife of the NT and have already spotted over 60 varieties of birds from our property. To give you a guide this is a list of the distances to some of our local tourist attractions: Litchfield NP 85km Kakadu National Park 110km Jumping Croc Cruises 22km Mindil Beach Markets 45km Darwin City 25km Dundee Beach 110km and the The World Famous Humpty Doo Hotel an easy 4km! We are located just off the Arnhem Highway and a short 5 min drive to the World Famous Humpty Doo Hotel, and local amenties including Woolworths, Chemist, Doctor, Newagency and a fantastic butcher and baker.
