Our villa is equipped with a fully functional kitchen if you prefer to stay in, and there are many fabulous dining options only a short drive away. A bit about us... Once upon a time, we decided we wanted to buy a villa in the beautiful Hunter Valley. Every day we dreamed about our perfect villa and all the things that were important to us, (keeping in mind the old adage of location, location, location), until one day we found our little home nestled among the gum trees. Because of all the property had to offer, we bought it, and have been able to enjoy this magic place ever since, and because of how happy it makes us feel, we wanted to share it. We like to think our villa combines country charm with the modern comforts of home, offering a warm, relaxing and inviting environment. The large sliding door and double windows in the living/dining area fills our space with an abundance of natural light immersing you in nature. Stepping outside on to the spacious balcony is the perfect place to sip on your drink of choice, and soak in the beautiful surroundings. The two bedrooms, both upstairs have king size beds, air-conditioning and their own private ensuite. There is a balcony off the master bedroom where you can enjoy views of the vines in the distance. We called our villa Piccola Casa which means little home in Italian, partly because we thought it was the perfect description, and also as a nod to our heritage. The Hunter Valley is filled with over 150 wineries, wonderful restaurants, and experiences. A short 2 hours from the centre of Sydney can feel like being in a different country immersed in nature, with great food wine and friendly hospitality. Added to this the property is a part of a championship golf course resort for those that like a challenge.
