Nestled in a quiet yet central neighbourhood, our 3 x Bedroom Top End style home offers a perfect retreat for both you, your family and even your furry friends! Our cozy and tranquil house is a true home away from home, with modern amenities to ensure your comfort. A salt water pool, outdoor dining area and large backyard with fruit trees encourage you to make the most of the outdoor lifestyle typical of the NT. On warmer or wetter days, make the most of the airconditioned and stylish interior. This property has 3 good sized bedrooms that are clean and modern, with great air conditioning! A large kitchen with a range of appliances means whether you are staying for a short or long stay, catering is easy. Outdoors a large and fully fenced yard is perfect for those traveling with pets. The saltwater pool is refreshing and comes with some pool toys for tropical afternoon entertainment. The houses in this area were built after cyclone Tracy in the late 70’s, and as such evoke the lifestyle of that era. We use professional cleaning and garden maintenance services, and we are constantly making upgrades to fittings and furnishings in an effort to keep our guests comfortable, because that’s what’s important! However we do advise the exterior of the house is looking a little tired in places, it’s on the list for a full revamp, we’re popping pennies in the jar daily!!

My partner Brad and I absolutely love where we live - the East Kimberley is easily the best place on the planet! We enjoy all things nature based, and love nothing more than the combination of cheese, wine and a Sunday afternoon on the waters of the Ord River. Except, perhaps, for test match cricket! When we travel, we love getting to the secret local spots, and value unique experiences with memorable people. We are more than happy to share our local knowledge and experience to this effect with those willing to join us during their journey. We spend a lot of time in Darwin, our nearest 'big town', and use this property as our base whilst we are here, with or without our pooches!

Jingili is central to Darwin, it is a family friendly residential suburb, a short distance to all the things you need during your stay. Jingili is known for having long standing Darwin residents, it is quiet and we are blessed with friendly neighbours! There is a school opposite this property, so on school days you can expect a bit of hustle around pick up and drop off times. Jingili is a fantastic base to explore greater Darwin and to understand what life is like in this city! It's less than a 5 minute drive from the airport and 15 minutes to Darwin City. It's also within 5 minutes to a number of different beaches, as well as the Nightlcliff Foreshore, which is our favourite place to hang out. The Rapid Creek markets are a 15 minute walk on a Sunday morning via the Jingili Water Gardens, and the Nightcliff markets is less than 10 minute drive. The property is 1.5km from Casuarina Square Shopping Centre where you can find a Coles and Woolworths, along with other major chain stores. A local's guide of 'Things to Do in Darwin' will be available for each guest during their stay which includes Cafes/Restaurants, attractions, information on the famous Darwin Markets (days and times they're open) and info on Kakadu/Litchfield National Park. It is worthwhile hiring a car when staying in Darwin, although Ubers are super quick to this property due to the proximity to the airport.
