We love people, travel, adventure and strive to create memorable & unique experiences for each and every guest. Our previous professional careers as a Pilot and Beauty College Principal have given us knowledge and experience in traveling, organisation, people management and customer service. Our global travels and stays in countless homes have shaped the way we manage and present the properties we offer. Verona Italian Restaurant - some of the best dining Tasmania has to offer, and purveyors of fine coffee, located 1 Rooke Street. Tasmania Food & Wine, General Store. Located on Steele Street. Great for wine, whisky or a fabulous coffee in their gorgeous space. Laneway - Rooke Lane - very trendy & friendly. Playfish- Great coffee and great toasties! Marion Storm at the Maritime Museum - coffee & great brekky. The Harbourmaster's Café - right on the Mersey River opposite the Spirit of Tasmania. Strait off the Boat - seafood caught in Bass Strait & cooked fresh, just a stone's throw away...on Forbes St. The viewing platform across from the Paranaple Centre (Gallery and Theatre) juts out into the river for a great viewing spot for the Spirit arrival/departure - especially pretty at night with all of its lights on. Devonport Farmers Market for fresh local produce - bread, pastries, eggs, seafood, coffee and food vans - 2nd & 4th Saturday mornings from 8:30am at the Devonport Showgrounds. The Tasmanian Arboretum - beautiful gardens! The Truffledore - great tastings & meet the dogs & Truffle hunts in winter. House of Anvers Chocolate- must try their spicy hot chocolate! Spreyton Cider Company - pretty orchard & tastings/food. Reliquaire - La Trobe - a true treasure house! Ghost Rock Vineyard- our fav Tassie Pinot!
