Welcome to Le Pèlerin! We are Myriam and Laurent, Montois by birth, with a passion for our beautiful city of Mons. Our story began on the cobbles of this historic city, where we met while studying. Since then, our love for Mons has grown steadily, fuelled by our explorations, discoveries and precious moments spent together in this city steeped in history. Our dream of opening a bed and breakfast in Mons finally came true when we discovered Le Pèlerin, an old building in the heart of the historic centre. Inspired by the history and signs of the past, we chose this name as a tribute to our town's past. Le Pèlerin embodies the spirit of the traveller, the person who travels the world, always looking for something new and inspiring. Each room at Le Pèlerin is named after an accessory emblematic of the Compostela pilgrim, recalling the spirit of adventure and discovery: - The Calebasse**: Symbolising simplicity and essentials, like the one carried by the first pilgrims to hold their drink. - The Shell**: Representing the path travelled and the challenges overcome, such as the scallop shells given to pilgrims on their arrival in Compostela. - The Bumblebee**: Faithful witness to the traveller, the staff that guides and protects, ready to face the challenges of the road. At Le Pèlerin, we invite you to immerse yourself in the authentic and warm atmosphere of the pilgrimage.

Our accommodations, ideal for short stays, offer comfort and practicality. Please note that for the Le Bourdon accommodation, adapted to the historic structure of the building, they are not suitable for bulky luggage. What's more, the typical, rather narrow staircase adds to the charm, but requires particular care on the way up. We recommend traveling light for the best experience.

Stays longer than 7 days can be booked. To ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay, certain specific rules and services apply:
