The B&B rooms are in the building of the original race horse training stables stemming from the flourishing times of the Groenendaal racecourse almost 100 years ago. Under the influence of the legendary King Leopold II a magnificent state of the art racecourse was build to go beyond any other race facility ever established in Europe. This hippodrome was the finest and largest ever build and the first to display three racing disciplines. Named the “Groenendaal racetrack”, the exquisite accommodation was immensely popular and attracted the fastest horses, finest jockeys and thousands of spectators. During these magical years many of the champion horses were trained at our patrimonial stables.
