't Vaerthuys is a new holiday home that has been furnished with much love. Do you want to enjoy the peace and quiet but also be active? Then you are in the right place.
Children are more than welcome! They can enjoy themselves on the play equipment in the garden, play board games, read booklets or Netflix. Lighting the BBQ in the evening and playing a game of dart is also possible.
In 2019 a dream came true: we started running a holiday home!

Maasvallei River Park is a stone's throw from our holiday home. Sailing with the whisper boats, a boat trip on the Maas, kayaking, rating or walking: you can do it all.
Fishing is on the Maas, the Zuid-Willemsvaart or on the gravel ponds if you have a fishing pass.
Relaxing in the midst of nature at Elaisa Wellness or prefer shopping in the Maasmechelen Village Outlet or Roermond Outlet?
Limburg by bike: cross the medieval Meuse villages of Leut, Oud-Rekem, Stokkem, Aldeneik and Kessenich. You can ride to the Netherlands and back via various ferry feet. Cycle between the mining spoil tips and enjoy the beautiful view.
Enjoy culinary delights on the Maas side at Vivendum and La Feuille d'Or and certainly get acquainted with the wine estates in the area. Our holiday home is a perfect base for exploring Belgian and Dutch Limburg.
