Feel welcome in the homelike feel of our house of straw StroEnzo!
The natural buildingmaterials wood, straw and clay will give you a unique and warm experience of living. Enjoy our books, magazines and vintage musicrecords.
Children have a special bond with my house of straw, maybe thanks to the many toys. I host families with children, befriended couples or friends taking of for a weekend together.
StroEnzo is equipped with all the modern comfort you need, especially in the kitchen. I make the beds for you. There are towels ready and you can find a stock of toilet paper. You get a small base stock for cooking, there is coffee and tea. Wifi is free, also the parking in front of the house.
Of course I clean and disinfect StroEnzo according to the applicable safety measures, so you can enjoy your holiday without any worries.

I have been receiving guests from all over the world for seven years now and I do so with great enthusiasm and sympathy for our region. So I like to give you tips to visit nice local hotspots in our neighborhood.
I bake a fresh bread for you and I give you a homemade jam from my brother-in-law Maarten of the Jambrouwerij.
I will be happy to receive you personally upon arrival.
StroEnzo is located in Riemst, a 15-minute drive from Tongeren, Bilzen or Maastricht.
You drive half an hour to Hasselt, Luik and Aachen. You are an hour away from Brussels and Antwerp, 2 hours away from Bruges, Ghent, Amsterdam.
This is what you can do: walking on hollow roads in our region. Also cycling through the hilly Haspengouw. Shopping. Tasting regional products. Visiting sandstone caves. Wine tasting at a castle. Learning about WWII. Strolling on an antique market. Eating good food. Drinking regional beers.
