Holidayparc Worriken is located directly on the shore of the Bütgenbach Reservoir, surrounded by breathtaking forest. At the foot of the High Fens, this holiday park is the ideal destination for hikers and nature-lovers. Take a bike or venture out on foot and enjoy an active holiday at Worriken.
Vakantiepark Worriken is situated on a 120-acre lake surrounded by woods and meadows. The park has extensive (group) sports facilities. The facilities for individual guests of the campsite can be used based on availability. There are tennis and squash courts, an indoor pool and a sauna. The lake is excellent for swimming, and there are sunbathing areas to catch some rays while enjoying a book. The relaxation area has a sandy beach and is equipped with a playground and games area. There is also a 3-metre climbing iceberg and a 7-metre trampoline. These are open in July and August.
During the summer, Worriken offers various sports and entertainment options for children and teenagers. The Worrie Club, where kids can play and draw, is ideal for younger guests. For young athletes between 8 and 13, the park offers a sports programme with climbing, archery, a ropes course and mountain biking.
Mercator restaurant offer a choice of snacks, a day menu or a takeaway option. The restaurant has limited opening hours.
In the vicinity of Vakantiepark Worriken, you have a series of options to make your stay even more enjoyable. There is a supermarket nearby, a mini golf, as well as several ski, surfing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking and cycling opportunities. Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month there is a market about 1.5km from the park. A visit to Malmedy, the site of the infamous Malmedy Massacre during World War II, is filled with history and culture.
