Itaoca beach, Itapemirim district, is known for its tranquility and attracts many visitors during the summer and all holidays during the year. It is 500 meters from the residence! In high season, the sand is very disputed. So, if you like to enjoy the beach in the morning, go early to guarantee a good spot. Here is a great place to rest, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With a good range of clear and soft sand, it has a sea of calm and clean waters, very suitable for a bath. Several visitors take the opportunity to practice sports, such as windsurfing, yachting and diving. The beach is also sought after for fishing, mainly by nearby residents. With good infrastructure, it has restaurants and bars on the shore, which provide a table and umbrella for its customers, serving good snacks. With a great coastline, a walk on the sand is always a good option. Ideal for families with children, who can bath in its calm waters. One of the characteristics of the beach is the large amount of shells and corals. On the left side of the beach are the stones that border Itaoca and Itaipava districts. There is a small trail that gives access to the top of the rocks and provides a magnificent view of the beaches. On the other side, Itaipava, is also a very peaceful place. From there you can see "Monte H", the highest point in Piúma. Another place close by that is worth visiting is Iriri beach, recommended as a beach for the whole family. Other nearby places to visit: Anchieta Sanctuary, Aghá Beach. A tip: in Itaoca, be sure to take the boat trip to "Ilha dos Franceses". The schooners that take this trip leave from the left corner of the beach. Itaoca beach is characterized by a very strong wind that comes from the northeast. It is the trademark of this region. A wonderful feeling! Here the sun always shines and the wind never stops. This is not just an expression: just look at the trees native to the region that are almost horizontal. The local cuisine is very varied.
