Kasane Self Catering consists of three small cottages built in the owners' garden. Though there are no views of the river from the rooms they all overlook the beautiful garden, lovingly created and maintained by Trish. The river, where we have built a beautiful deck high in the branches of a Jackelberry tree, is accessible from a gate in the front wall where. The main house is also on the property so the owners are always at hand.
Trish and Geoff have lived in Botswana for 45 years and in Kasane for 30 years and have a wealth of local knowledge and not a few stories to share. They originally owned the only general dealer in town when Kasane was truly just a small Hamlet.
Kasane sits on the Banks of the Chobe River. The town itself has few things to recommend it but is is our proximity to the Park that makes it a worthwhile destination. Kasane Self Catering itself is right in the middle of town in a beautiful tropical garden and is within walking distance of a good Spar, ATM and several Restaurants. The park is a 10 minute drive away. We will arrange activities for you.
