Joe and Christopher recently moved from Bermuda -Joe's native home- and purchased Alicion as a new and exciting venture in their lives. While Joe was retired from a business and food background, Christopher brings with him years of experience in the high-end makeup industry having worked with models, film, TV, and destination weddings. Each brings his own experience to this new venture, and their new home. The couple have travelled extensively and enjoy a passion for food, in particular all things Asian.
Impormasyon ng accommodation
Alicion was built in 1911 by prominent Lunenburg businessman and Canadian Senator William Duff. The home remained in the family until the late 1970s, after which it moved from being a family home into a successful bed and breakfast. Located in what is called New Town, an easy ten minute stroll into the heart of Lunenburg, Alicion sits on one of the largest town lots and offers four spacious en-suite rooms on a bed and breakfast basis, and a two bedroom Carriage House available as a self catering home to guests preferring to make their own arrangements.

Lunenburg is the perfect base to explore Nova Scotia's South Shore. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the town is a perfect base to explore some of the best Nova Scotia has to offer. Museums, art galleries, restaurants and fantastic seafood all wait to be explored. Famous the world over, the Bluenose Schooner is also based on the town's waterfront and enthusiasts will site and experience many sailing and boating opportunities. Rent a bike and cycle along the shore to visit fantastic beaches, country bakeries and small village shops. Once back at Alicion guests may enjoy relaxing on the veranda with a book and glass of wine, practicing their short game on our putting green, or playing a round of croquet.
