Hammer Haus III is located in a quiet residential neighourhood, just 20 minute walk to the University of Waterloo, or 10 minute walk to the David Johnston Research Park. There are four bedrooms, two bedrooms with their own ensuites The house is ideally suited for visiting professors, parents visiting their university students, business people, tourists visiting the nearby St. Jacob's market or international students during "change over" or during their first few days arriving in Canada. Whatever your need, we have a room that will be clean, quiet and comfortable.
The guest must sign a rental agreement and return signed rental agreement to the host within 48 hours of confirmation of booking. Minimum age is required for primary guest.
We have had the privilege of travelling the world, visiting more than 35 countries during the last 10 years. In late 2018, we returned to Canada and started our guest rooms and suites - "Hammer Haus". Now, instead of travelling the world, the world is coming to us! We've enjoyed hosting guests from many countries including: England, Germany, Russia, Brazil, France, Ireland, Scotland, China, Korea, Australia, USA and many parts of Canada. We are delighted to share our home and gardens with our guests and hear about their travels. If you are interested in a "home away from home", Hammer Haus is the perfect place!
In 2020, we opened Hammer Haus II. This property offers closer access to the University of Waterloo and David Johnston's Research and Technology Park. This location is very convenient for visiting professors, parents visiting their children in university and business people working in the Hi-Tech Park. Whatever reason brings you to Waterloo, we are delighted to host you in one of our locations.
In 2021, Hammer Haus III has opened to fill the growing need for clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation.
Hammer Haus III is located just 1.9 km from the University of Waterloo, 3 min. drive from David Johnston Research and Technology Park and 5 km to St. Jacob's Farmer's Market and Flea Market. Enjoy the walking trails through nearby Laurel Creek Conservation area. The #9 bus is located at the corner and the Grand River Transit is located just 15 minute walk to the University. The Grand River Transit will take you much anywhere you need to go in Kitchener Waterloo.

Valid phone number and a complete mailing address is required, otherwise, the reservation will be canceled immediately.
Guests will receive a rental agreement, which must be signed and returned directly to the property prior to arrival. The agreement must be sent within 48 hours after the booking was made. Minimum age requirement for primary guest must be met for rental of multiple rooms or full house rental as stated in the rental agreement.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Cleaning Fee of $175.00 is required with any 3 or 4 bedroom reservation. This will be added to your bill and paid directly at the property including the tax of 13%
