Our property is an 1860's farmhouse which has been sympathetically updated set in 1.25 acres of grounds on the outskirts of Cowansville. It is one the original properties which made up the settlement of Sweetsberg which has subsequently been absorbed into the town of Cowansville.
We are a well travelled couple, arriving in Cowansville from New Zealand. Josee is a native of Quebec having grown up in the Lac St Jean area then moving to Quebec for University and work. Josee seeking adventure moved to New Zealand for work and ended up in the Taranaki town of New Plymouth where she lived for 12 years. Dave is originally from North Wales moved to the North East of England to study and work then decided to also find adventure and cycled around New Zealand in his mid 30's. Falling in love with New Zealand found work in New Plymouth meeting Josee after being there for 1 year. Now we are running the Le Gite Le Passe Partout in Cowansville and enjoying this new adventure.
