This is the best and safest neighborhood in Toronto. We are steps to the most beautiful High Park, and best place to see April's Cherry Blossom when you hit the right time. Most exotic hikes and trails that are colorful, serene, quiet and relaxing... yet you're always minutes to the hip cafes, tastiest bake shops, and famed restaurants, what convenience.
You can almost taste the crisp freshness and the leafy smell in the air that surrounds this scenic loft. Through the large glass windows, vivid and picturesque views of autumnal woodlands, and at times clothed with fairytale-like snow. Undisturbed and exciting all at the same time!
I'm a therapist by trade but a foodie and traveler at heart. I love meeting people while traveling and hosting. I especially enjoy living among the locals everywhere I go and learning about their vast cultures and yummy food. My husband is a physician in the nearby hospital, we are semi-retired per se, our daily routine would be our morning coffee together, walks and chats, then we make our ways to play tennis and pickleball (we must stay active at our age lol), and we do our bit of work too.
When we have guests, we love sharing our many stories over coffee, and if you have the time we could take you on a walk through beautiful High Park right in front of our house.
I grew up in Toronto, lived and worked in this community for over 40 years. We’ve recently fully rebuilt our home and thought it would be great to share our place with travelers, to share stories!
Bloor West Village is a trendy, bustling neighborhood with hip cafes and delightful restaurants. For services, there are many services catered for travelers like post office, print shops, urgent care, spa services, laundromat and dry cleaners, all to enjoy and use!
