Tiny home on our property, located in the rural community of Ryder Lake with spectacular views of the Fraser Valley. Minutes from town and amazing hiking, lakes and rivers.
We moved from Vancouver in 1998 and bought our home here in Ryder Lake. In 2020 we added the tiny house to our property and began hosting guests.
I love cooking, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. My husband and cohost, Jason is an avid birder and outdoor enthusiast.
Ryder Lake is a small sub-alpine community located in Chilliwack,BC. Ryder Lake is home to a variety of wildlife including bears, cougars, bobcats, coyotes, deer and to many endangered species, some which can be found on our property like the Phanton Orchid.
Llamas, alpacas , chickens,goats and ducks are nearby neighbours and can be seen from our yard.
The lake, for which the community is named is located on private property and is not visible from the road.
Cultus Lake Provincial Park is an easy drive, only 15 min away.
Our property is 10min from town and 10km from the Elk Mountain trail head- a very popular hiking destination.
