The family-run Hotel Des Alpes is located next to the Muggeseeli nature reserve in the centre of Kandersteg. All rooms have been renovated in 2010 and Wi-Fi is available for free. From your room you can enjoy panoramic mountain views. It has a restaurant with a garden terrace, serving tasty regional cuisine, and an inviting bar, where you can watch sport events on a large TV screen. In winter, you have direct access to the cross country tracks from the Hotel des Alpes. Within a 10-minute walk you can reach the Kandersteg train station and the bus stop is only 100 metres away from the Hotel Des Alpes. This bus brings you to the lifts of the Oeschinensee and Suennbühl-Gemmi hiking and skiing area. You can park your car for free on site.
