Each of our 8 contemporary rooms have been lovingly decorated and are within walking distance from the town center and the train station. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, WC, Shower, Hairdryer and Natural Toiletries. One of our rooms is wheelchair accessible Water, tea and coffee are available all day and night in our breakfast room and can be taken to your room. For an additional charge you can start the day with our Swiss style breakfast buffet including homemade jams and Birchemüsli. All our dairy products are organic and from Switzerland. We also offer plant-based options such as oat and almond milk and butter alternatives. We are open to all dietary requests. Nathalie, Anthony (and Leon & Etienne) welcome you into their bed & breakfast - Ambrosia Guesthouse. Anthony runs the day-to-day business and you’ll meet him at check-ins and -outs, or at breakfast. He ensure the smooth running of the business with the guest at its heart and when not busy catering for you, he’ll manages the rooms and reservations. Nathalie enfolds her creative love in the kitchen and on decoration. One of her main focus is on delivering and evolving their sustainability promise, being part of the local community and business and thinking ahead and of possible new exciting ventures.

The beautiful Aldstadt of Rheinfelden is located 15 kilometres east of Basel. It is located on the High Rhine and is the oldest ‚Zäringer Town‘ in Switzerland, officially having been given its title by Duke Konrad in 1130. The city is across the river from Rheinfelden in Baden-Württemberg; the two cities were joined until Napoleon Bonaparte fixed the Germany–Switzerland border on the Rhine in 1802 but are still socially and economically tied. A little town with a great history which you can experience in one of the town tours or by walking the medieval streets.
